Development of WIZZ AIR Hungarian flights

 

Wizz Air announced on its website that it will significantly improve its Budapest network by 2018, with two new routes and plans for 32 flights a week in Budapest. Wizz Air, Central and Eastern Europe's largest discount airline announced during the summer 2017 that it significantly expanded its capacity in Budapest with the arrival of two new aircrafts, launching two new routes and increasing the frequency of 13 popular flights.

In March 2018, Wizz Air will launch its newest flight from Budapest to Stavanger, which will be the second destination in Norway after Bergen in 2017. In May 2018, Wizz Air will launch a new route from Budapest to Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg EuroAirport, which operates at the triple border of France, Germany and Switzerland. In addition, the airline increases the number of thirteen flights in Budapest - the frequency of flights to Rome Fiumicino, Moscow, Barcelona, ​​Tel Aviv, Madrid, St. Petersburg, Keflavik, Kutaiszi, Porto, Tirana, Podgorica and Skopje.

Wizz Air operates at the two Hungarian airports, Budapest and Debrecen a total of 12 aircrafts. The domestic network of the airline already offers 71 routes, connecting Budapest and Debrecen to Europe and across 30 other countries.
